The "Apparition" This is the product of Diamon's wounded psyche. The TOTALLY wild, TOTALLY fearless and TOTALLY dangerous incarnation of Diamon. Also TOTALLY bereft of common sense or the ability to rationalize in any terms other than absolute CARNAGE!
Making the "Apparition" appear isn't that difficult. They only have to do the one thing that pains their dearest friend the most. The problem is getting rid of him.
Obsidian Obsidian is a Goddess on OtherEarth, the crumbling mirror dimension where men and women such as these are commonplace citizens. She joined the team to attempt to find the destructive force that is deteriorating the "dimensional threshold", the gateway between RealEarth and OtherEarth. By the time she learned that the formidable Nexxus was the source, she had also learned that she'd need considerable help on the RealEarth side if she hoped to vanquish him before he had destroyed the gateway altogether forcing the two dimensions to collide.
Obsidian is neither human nor mutant but yet another species altogether. Her power is manifested in the total, utter removal of light in any spectrum that her opponent can perceive. In other words, she can blind any lifeform by casting it into the absence of light. The drawback of this impressive power is that the gorgeous, inhuman Obsidian relies on every spectrum of light for her own sight and activating this weapon leaves her virtually helpless and completely dependant on the strengths of her partners. (Once you get to know her better you'll understand what a drawback that is!)
